What part of a tune do you find easier to sing? I find Harmony's are easier to sing, and the fact you can make them up to already existing songs where as you can't with melodys.

I can't "sing" either, but composing harmony is much easier. You can sometimes substitute creativity with music theory.

I love them both equally. Harmony sounds fantastic sung juuust right, and Melody is always beautiful. But I'd have to say I'm leaning on Melody, because it's easier. xD

I'm also with Squinchy. Can't sing either, but can compose harmony easier. The melody...well, it's supposed to flow properly and sound right, and it's the base for the harmony. Well, kinda. But it's harder to compose.

It depends on the song really.

I think melodies are easier overall if you are familiar enough with the song...but as an alto that's usually not an option for me if I'm singing in a group. :P

Harmonies...are kinda fun though. I think they are harder because it can be something you're not familiar with. But if you can get it right it feels good to hear that end result. :)

Well, I usually sing the Harmony, but thats only because most Melody's are too high for me now. I only sing Melody on songhs that are within my singing reach. But the good thing about Harmony's are they sound good no matter what octave they are in.

I don't sing in any organized group or anything, so I don't really know much about harmonizing. I'm one of those people who you see driving down the road singing along with the radio

Actually, I'm good at both. Though I think harmony is easy, I find melody even easier. I don't know why either. I guess that's just the way it is with me.

I find it can be either depending on which song I sing (though my voice doesn't exactly go high enough for some).

I find melody to be easier than harmony because harmony is usually lower and I'm not able to sing low.

I'm usually prefer the melody, but I do agree singing harmony is fun at times.

I prefer to sing melodies, but when I listen to a song I generally pick up the harmonies first, oddly enough.
