Rise in random events?

Has anyone noticed a rise in REs since the new toolbar? In the past two days, I have received maybe 10 or more! Several were the useless ones, four or five were "You found 100NP!", one was 1000NP and one just now was a code stone. This is the most I've ever received in my whole four years playing neopets!

I haven't had a SINGLE RE since the new bar, and I've been beta testing it since before it came out.

I've had many of those like "The Bug Brothers jump up and steal 26 neopoints!", but nothing else
Haven't found a codestone in ages =(

(And speaking of luck I finally got the "Glade" avatar.)

Though, I have been playing NQ2 for the first time. I guess the sudden surge of hundreds of page views in one day caused it. (Even more reason to play NQ!)

In the last month or so I have had a huge rise in random events. In fact I think I have had more fairy quests in the last month than I have had in four years.

I reckon its because I am playing on neopets so much (games and so on) when I never used to.

Well, I suppose playing on the site would get you more random events.
But some people are just luckier than others.

I've noticed a huge rise in REs, especially Faerie Quests, but long before I was beta-testing the new toolbar. I believe much of it because I'm actively playing NQ2, and I do believe in the theory behind donating to the Money Tree.

I've noticed a lot more RE's as well. I've gotten more faerie quests and such than I've gotten in a long time. It's been earlier than the new toolbar, though, like a month or so now.

I'v gotten quite a few REs today... Mainly pointless, but I did get a codestone.
But I don't think this has anything to do with the new toolbar.

I believe I have gotten at least 20 faerie quests ove the past three months... As for RE's they are pretty much the same amount for me, which is about once per day.

I have been getting a bunch lately, but thats how it goes for me, I can go a week or more with out a single RE and then suddenly BOOM, I start getting tons. I think it's just random luck.

Most of my REs lately haven't really done anything for me though, unless you count the one where I found 20 np.
