Just curious to know what was the longest game you ever played?

San Andreas, been playing for 8 hours and still not past half the missions in the first city.

Star Wars Knights of the old republic was pretty long too...

though the fact that the storyline, gameplay, huse amount of different items and graphics were almost perfect, it's the same as the best game i've known

Seiken Densetsu 3 took like, five months for me to beat. :lol:

yup, I'm about 16% done on whole game, I played from 11-10 Friday, 7-9 Saturday, 4-9 Sunday and 5-8 today, going on later when I get some coursework done.

Tip, don't buy too many weapons. Use the free ones around the Ganton safehouse. (only when still on 1st part of city atleast)

Kingdom Hearts- 7 Months

Took me 7 months because I was grounded for around 3 months but it still was very difficult for me.

Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. It's not really the longest game I've played storywise since I could beat it on Normal difficulty in around 10 hours, but I've had it since the day it came out and still haven't beaten it fully -- still have all the optional bosses on the hardest difficultly mode and a few random Battle Trophies to collect. If I do ever get all the Battle Trophies I'm sure I'll have spent well over 300 hours on it.

FFXI online was pretty long, but it's never ending game. it's the longest game i ever played.

I spent 300+ hours on FFX maxing out everyone's stats ^^'

Are you saying that you completed the whole sphere grid? *stares* Oh. My. God....You're insane if you completed that grid. And just really really obsessed. XD

FF8 is currently taking me the longest. I sorta hate the game now, and I can't beat Adel, but I wanna see the ending... ^^;;

Longest game for me that I've actually beaten has to be Xenogears.
It's a very very awesome game with such a cool story, but the dialog in the game is so slow and you can't rush through it.
I can't even count how many times I fell asleep while all of it was going on and it's not even b/c it was boring or something b/c it really wasn't. It just had an odd effect of putting me to sleep

lol

But yeah... if you like rpg's... I HIGHLY recommend that game. Be warned though... there are scenes with suggestive sexual thing going on... and nudity

Just to beat? FFVII or VIII. To fully finish? Probably one of the Pokemon games. I'll have to check how long it took me to get 151 in my Red Version.......its a pretty long time, though.

EDIT: It currently has 60 hours on it. Not much compared to some of you guys......

Azurik rise of the (forget the last word haven't played in awhile)

The fastest person to beat that game took 2 months. And I'm nowhere near the fastest gamer at anything.

I've noticed that RPGs take me the longest to beat, and anything that has stats you can max out naturally will take awhile.

The longest for me? Pokemon Ruby: 10 months and counting.

Actually I completed it, and then I retraced it, removed the weak +1 spheres and replaced them with stronger spheres.
