i've had a thought...(a dangerous thing parhaps, given how new i am to the ranks) but...
if getting new members, and greeting newbies is an issue, why not designate one person to the job, a sort of "Ambasitor of the Gnomes", that way you could free up other members too get on with their own busness, then once in a while have a day when all members have to go and greet someone. Or designate a spisific day to each person where its their job to do greetings, i'm not shure how maney members their are exactly, mabey you could go in two week cycles os something. i dont know, mabey its too involved, just an idea though, do let me know what ya'll think.

We almost did something like that... We apparently never got around to it though... But it's a great idea... REMEMBER: If you greet newbies with the exact same greeting, the mods will be over here yelling at us.ladyfair wrote:i've had a thought...(a dangerous thing parhaps, given how new i am to the ranks) but...

Not crazy enough???? Where else do short people run around tossing pancakes while singing the national anthem of Jeopardy?Wind wrote:Very interesting. I don't know if it's crazy enough, but I'd like to join.
