The PPT mIRC chat...
I've been in there the past few days, and I can't find any reason why, but it says my IP address has been banned and I can't join the channel.
I dont know if it's a mistake, but if it's not, i'd at least like to know what I did...

can you connect through the java applet? do you have a router or a firewall?
someone else on the forums said that their university doesn't allow people to connect to irc networks...maybe you're in a similar situation?

nope no fiewall and I was connected to my modem when i was trying to get in i could connect through the applet and im using my home computer

hmm..you can connect through the applet but not mirc...it must be a mirc setting then. Well try connecting to synaptic.creativeirc.net
Type: /server synaptic.creativeirc.net:6667 and then once it connects, type: /join #Pinkpt
hope that works.

you can be on multiple servers by typing: /server -m synaptic.creativeirc.net
the -m opens another status window (assuming you have the latest version of mIRC)
btw, what network is #battledome on?

Yeah I've been there before, the only problem with GalaxyNet is that it's very insecure..meaning it's easy to get your IP there, whereas on CreativeIRC (where PPT's chat is) the network scrambles your IP. So your IP is cloaked and no one can get it.

..and because of this, you should move in and bring your friends.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!
