Welcome to Versus! This event will pit two artists/bands against one another. PPT will vote (On the Poll) to see which band/artist they want to win. The winner will than take on a challenger the next week and so on and so forth.

Killers! I have this huge obsession with them right now...
And yeah, I think you should retire artists after a while. 10 weeks is a LOT, maybe make it 5? (that's about a month and a half, as compared to about 3)

At the moment, Queen has been winning for about 5 weeks. I can't retire artists at 5 weeks considering Queen has surpassed that but if anyone else can think of a reasonable number, I will make it into affect.

Queen, they're classics! I'll give The Killers five years maximum before people get fed up of them and move on to "the next big thing".

I completely agree. I love the killers and they're a band I actually listen to and can vote for because I think they play good music.

Then 6? 10 is a lot though. And look..when artists carry on for so long, people vote for the other artist just because the other artist has been on for so long, and that's not a very good reason to vote :/. 10 is really long though.

There should be similarity between contestants. You shouldn't have Usher Vs. Queen as they totally different. One is a classic oldie and another is modern. Different genres. Keep to the same time periods and genres.

Yeah, but if you do that then you will never get out of the genre that you started in.
Anyway, I really like the killers. They're no queen, but I am a fan and so for the sake of moving the poll along I will tip my hat in their direction.
