I don't think so. I think people are assuming its an implied term as they stopped allowing people to use the other coding. Obviously, if they did that, they didn't want music *shruggs* I suppose like someone already said, only time will tell! I suppose someone could always try sending a query to TNT if they want to add music but are unsure about doing so because of this issue.

I personally will never ever have music on my lookup or shop (I only had it for a week or so on my guild because one of the other Council Members put it there and I felt bad about taking it down), I sometimes only have access to a 56k modem so I can sympathise all the time with people who have slow connections and sometimes I have to suffer with them too. Not only that but when I'm on a faster connection I have to pay for download so it'll end up costing me. If adding music to a lookup becomes an obsession around Neo I'll have to be cautious about visiting lookups - sad really because I like seeing what people have designed.

If you're talking about the music, I found it myself. And as for the userlookup, I made almost of it. I found the background on a background site (long, long time ago...), and if I knew where it came from, I'd give them credit. The other things are original, from an HTML guide that I followed. I made it myself. My pets backgrounds on their lookups (except for one) are from SoupFaerie.com, and I give credit for it in my shop as well as my lookup. So what are your problems?

1) music on lookups is incredibly annoying for most people except the person who did the lookup. Make a poll or something, ask people if they think it's a good idea to put music on lookups. You'll see.

2) of course neopets doesn't want you to have music on your lookup. If they wanted that then they would allow the normal music html code thingies. Come on, you're saying it yourself. You're being sneaky. Neopets will freeze you for less. You may be able to argue that there isn't anything specific against music in the rules but really, there can be no doubt that you're circumventing neopets' intentions. They blocked out the music codes for a reason.

Really, if you get frozen after putting music on your lookup please don't make a "unfairly frozen" post.

Dissident, I would hope that if in fact music on lookups is not allowed that people "just" get their lookups cleared and/or a warning. I personally think freezing someone for that is a bit much.

I don't like the idea of music on lookups, but I don't like music in shops, along with animated backgrounds and tons of graphics because it does make things load way too slow (I'm one of those people on dial up). Even people using png format can really slow a page load down for me.

True I guess. Still, we know that neopets is freezerhappy. Anyway, my point stands. It's obvious that neopets don't want you using music on lookups so if you circumvent that then you must accept the risks.

Wow she's a clever person for getting music on her lookup. I don't personally care if there is abackground and music in a shop as long as it doesn't freeze my comp. Like to much stuff I'll get mad. I don't get why we can't have music in our look-up, we can have music in our shops and pet pages I think we can have them in the pet lookups too what's the point of taking the music out of lookups??

The point is that a lot of people really don't like the music. A lot of people listen to their own music when they sit at their computer. Some people use slow modems so a 40mb wav or even a 5mb mp3 file might not be so funny for them. And so on. It doesn't matter what the point is though, neopets disabled the music codes on the lookups, that means they don't want us to have music on our lookups. Fin.

Well that stinks, cause I hate it when people have stupid "I'm a little teapot" music playing when I'm trying to listen to my music... It's the most annoying thing in the world...

I think TNT is trying to give us a message here, if they disable music codes, they obviously don't want us to have music in our lookups, and I think we should respect that, and send some type of report to TNT, telling them to fix this code, I just don't feel right bending the rules.
