Anyways. I love musicals...movies, theater, whatever. It's been a dream of mine to act in a musical when I grow up.

Throw me a cheesey old Disney movie or a DVD of "CATS" and I'm happy for a few hours.

I found the Rocky Horror Picture Show morbidly fascinating...more morbidly fascinating then a bucket full of pig hearts.

I tend to dislike musicals, but I do like all of the Muppet movies, which are some of the funner musical movies out there. I want to add This Is Spinal Tap to the list, but it is not a musical, it is a mockumentry with a lot of great music. Nigel Turnnel (Christopher Guest), Derak Smalls (Harry Shearer), and David St Hubbins (Micheal McKean) are too great to be ignored. My dad says that the South Park movie is a musical because of all the songs and dance numbers, but he is a dirty hippie and can be ignored.

Grease, definitely.

I'm a huge Broadway fan, and so I love "Rent", "Chicago", and "The Producers", of course, but "Grease" is always and still the best.

And also, when all these fake fans are now suddenly amazingly huge Rent fans, it sort of turns me away from it.

South Park The Movie is a musical. It's got some of the best songs around!

Hedwig And the Angry Itch and Little Shop Of Horrors. Hedwig was a great play and translated quite well to screen, and Horrors moved amazingly to stage, despite some difficulty with the manipulation of Audrey II. Oh, Rent comes a close third.

I watched "Delovely" yesterday, and its devinately worth seeing! it has some amazing songs and a lovely story.

Les Miserables (though you can usually only get the non-musicals or In Concert version)

Into The Woods
Wizard Of Oz
The Wiz
Peter Pan
The Hobbit

... and all that stuff.
Now, the Phantom movie, not my favourite having seen the play. Ah well... better luck next time they remake it...

Does anyone remember a film (Or the play that absolutely RULES!!) called Mary Poppins?!

Also, Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights is good too.
