I think of my thumb as a "disabled" finger, because it's smaller and has one joint less than the others, but it can still do most things other fingers do.

Finger is a funny word. The more I look at it the odder it gets.

... I dunno about you, but my thumb has Three joints just like my fingers...

Eh, it can be considered either, but I don't see how the thumb being different qualifies it as a non-finger.

If a thumb isn't a finger, then neither are my index, middle, ring, or pinky... I'll call them fingrettes.
