Pound will be up on Monday...or not

Most likely not yet...lol There'd have been a bunch of "OMG THE POUNDS BACK" boards in the neoboards first, then it'd crash. It's more likely they're getting it put up now/soon.

Edit: ok, it came up for me now.

Heh, I'm on 56k. I'd see the crash before the neoboard most likely!

Well, I've seen some convincing evidence that TNT is in fact taking some pets out of the pound. I've lurked on the boards, and all the pets that people say were in the pound and are now frozen belong to the very same account. One with a username suspiciously similar to the game of a programmer.

I am just wondering two things about direct transfers.
1) Will pet trophies stay with the pet? Beauty Contest, Petpet Protection League and the like.
2) Paint brush clothes will go with the pet, but is that just clothes that go with the color they currently are, or all clothes they are wearing? For example if you painted your pet pirate, then painted it ghost to have a cool ghost wearing pirate gear, would the pirate clothes stay with the pet if it was transfered, or not?
I suppose we'll only find out once someone tries it.

Edit: I see no new message at the pound. It looks exactly the same as it did before.
However Neo is seriously laggy for me and sometimes the pages don't load at all.

Lol. I don't think I've ever seen Neo so screwed up. Rarely does it simply not exist instead of the red pteri. Sigh, and I just finished ALL of my homework, yes ALL, and was excited for a well deserved break. Oh well! TV time I guess.

I heard the pound was about to open in a few minutes 3:00 NST. Now the whole site is down. I wonder if this is going to be a chain reaction which will go on indefinatly..as 50000 or more people try to get on the site to get a pet, and keep refreshing and refreshing the same link for days and days and keeping the site constantly crashing? I had a feeling this wasn't going to work very well.

Yeah, I was lurking around, and everyone said that it would be open at 3 PM NST. Let's just hope that this crash will be fixed soon and you will be able to get on the pound. -refreshes=

Called it. I don't remember if I did it on the forum or not, but I do remember telling my husband that the site would crash when they planned on reopening the pound. Let's see how long it takes to come back up.

Sigh. I can't see any pets.
I'll stay away from the pound, at least until I know it's up for sure. I'm in no hurry to use it (although I'd like to transfer a pet before this month is up), and I don't want to contribute to crashing the site.

I played some games this morning and it was sluggish for awhile, but then it picked back up.

Since it's after 5 in TNTland, I'm predicting we won't see anything until tomorrow at the earliest. It would seem reckless to put it up right as they leave for the day, without most of the team there to react quickly to a potential crisis.

At least the rest of the site is up!
